A Blizzard of Oz theme to celebrate a snowy season and free skiing for all. CRESTED BUTTE, Colo. – NOV. 12 – Crested Butte Mountain Resort opens for the 2013-2014 season on November 27, 2013. As tradition goes, the resort will do so in style, with free skiing and riding for all and a costumed celebration to kick off the first chair, as the lift starts turning.
