Rails 2 Riches this weekend

This is last year’s recap above.

Riley Nickerson is on a plane headed from Tahoe to his homeland of Vermont to defend his Rails 2 Riches title from last season. Rails 2 Riches is one of the biggest events on the east coast and hands down the biggest rail jam. There are a handful of other events, Eastern Boarder’s Last Call, the Carinthia Open, Ride Shakedown, and so on, that carry a lot of weight back east, R2R is one of the heavies. Not to mention, it dishes out a $25,000 cash purse, which probably has something to do with it.

Here’s a list of the dude winners from the past couple of years to give you an idea of who comes through this event.

2012- Riley Nickerson

2011- Johnny O’Connor

2010- Dylan Dragotta

2009- Forest Bailey

2008- Forest Bailey

Here’s some more info on this year’s event. If you missed the lottery or getting in yourself, you should still get to Killington this weekend, Saturday December 7th, and watch the show. It’s gonna be nuts.

THE EAST COAST’S PREMIER RAIL JAM IS BACK AND BIGGER THAN BEFORE

A $25,000 cash purse will be earned by riders making the podium. Come watch all the action as these professional and amateur skiers and riders battle it out under the lights.
