Big Sky, Mont. (November 20, 2013) – November 28, 2013, Thanksgiving Day, Big Sky Resort will launch into their first season, as one resort, together with Moonlight and Spirit Mountain, bringing 5,750 acres under one lift ticket . Big Sky Resort will open as much terrain as Mother Nature and the snowmaking crew will allow.
The Moonlight terrain and Madison Base area will be open for the season on December 7, 2013 and the Spanish Peaks area of Spirit Mountain will open on December 13, 2013.
In the tradition of offering great value during early season, Big Sky Resort is offering $20 lift tickets on December 6, 2013. That same day Moonlight Unlimited and Mid-week pass holders can go directly to the lifts currently open. Saturday and Sunday, December 7-8, 2013 all Moonlight Unlimited pass holders and Big Sky Gold, Silver and Bronze pass holders will have access to all the open terrain of Big Sky Resort, including the terrain in Moonlight. What better time to try before you buy, as season pass holders have until December 31, 2013 to upgrade their season passes to the Biggest Skiing in America pass.
Sky Card holders receive free skiing from December 1-8, 2013 when they present their Sky Card at the ticket window. Big Sky Bronze pass holder’s free ski days start December 8, 2013 and continue until Christmas day.
